Patriana Ltd is a British company offering some of the best quality, traditional food from both France (Basque region and Pyrenees Atlantiques in the south west) and Spain (Castilla, Extremadura, La Mancha, and Catalunia).

The Basque region is known for the quality and richness of its food and we import from several artisan and farm producers in the French Basque region. We have several of its most famous products such as Bayonne ham, Ossau Iraty cheese and Espelette red pepper as well as charcuterie from the Kintoa Basque pig

Spain is renowned for its fine food especially its charcuterie We import from a specialist producer of Iberico products including the mouth watering Iberico Bellota ham. Added to that is a high quality extra mature Serrano ham. We also have genuine artisan produced Manchego cheese

Basque ham wins gold      

The Basque Kintoa has just won 3 star gold at the prestigious British Gold Taste awards. This is the highest award given by the Guild of Fine food and is a testimony to the excellence and uniqueness of this ham The Kintoa ham had already won the gold medal at the Salon d'Agriculture in Paris.

The ham, obtained from the rare breed free range Basque Kintoa pig, is available on the bone and deboned.

We are proud to stock this ham, produced by Pierre Oteiza, as well as other related Kintoa products such as chorizo, saucisson, pates and pancetta.

Bayonne ham wins gold medal

Our Bayonne ham, produced by the Elizaldia Farm won a gold medal at the Salon d'Agriculture in Paris. The farm specialises in this well known ham, cured for over 12 months, as well as other high quality traditional charcuterie.

Tapenade

We now stock traditional black olive and green olive tapenade produced by an artisan producer in southern France. Delicious as an aperitif on toast

Onena Organic Charcuterie

A small range of organically produced charcuterie is available, certified by Ecocert.

Our policy is to source all our products directly from artisan and farm producers. This close relationship ensures that we have detailed knowledge of our products and production methods. The suppliers have been carefully chosen to ensure that the products we offer are authentic and produced to rigorously high standards.

Many of the products are award winners and represent the very best examples of fine food from these two countries.
